Where can we park for drop off/pickup?

There is a paid parking lot across from our shop on Crown street and there is also ample street parking.

Please note that the carpark behind Dogh & Co. is not available for our customers to access due to it being private parking for tenants only.

What size should I book my dog in for?

Small Dog 0-10kgs

Medium Dog 11-20kgs

Large 21-35kgs

Xlarge 35- 50+kgs

If you are unsure always book in for the size above to allow plenty of time for us to complete the groom. Size will be assessed at drop off to confirm size.

What is a Deshed?

Deshedding is a two-part process. Many pets shed continuously throughout the year, while others may “blow” their coat seasonally. However, a deshed treatment can help keep your house from being overrun by drifts of hair in every nook and cranny.

In addition, there are a couple of health benefits of deshedding. For dogs, it removes some of the hot, dense undercoat which can help them stay cooler during steamy summers.

REQUIRED FOR BREEDS WITH DOUBLE COATS.

THE PROCESS

1. The first part of the treatment is bathing in a specially-formulated shampoo and conditioner which loosen the hair that will naturally fall out during shedding.

2. The second part of the treatment commences after the dog is fully dried.

A comb with specialized teeth is used to comb out the loose hair until no more comes out. Unlike “thinning” human hair, the comb does not cut or damage the dog coat. The result is a shiny, healthy coat.

3. The pet will still have a few loose hairs falling out over the course of the next 48 hours.

After that, shedding will be greatly reduced if not completely eliminated. For optimum coat health and shedding prevention, a deshed is recommended once a month.

How long will the groom take?

When booking online times are shown for each service, please keep in mind that this is a estimated time and that a groom can finish earlier or later that estimated time.

When do I pick up my dog and do you offer minding service before and after groom?

We a Stay & Groom service here at DOGH & CO Stay & Groom Days, this service is exclusive to Wednesday and Thursday.

Your dog must be sociable & comfortable with other dogs. Drop off is between 8am-9am.

Dogs must be picked up before 5pm.

For all One on One appointments dogs must be dropped off at their appointment time and picked up within their allocated pick up time after their appointment. If a dog is not picked up within 15 minutes after their pick up time, a late fee will be charged as this greatly effects the rest of our appointments for the day and inconveniences other customers.

We will give you a estimated time of pick up when you drop off you dog and we will also give a you a 20 minute notice of your dogs pick up time.
